Chem-Durance Bio tubing with high chemical resistance
Chem-Durance Bio tubing has a strong combination of properties for high chemical resistance. Chem-Durance Bio has been developed with a plasticizer-free bore (inner layer) specially bonded to a thermoplastic elastomer jacket (outer layer) to create a synergistic combination of chemical resistance and pumping life. This chemical tubing is an excellent choice for sensitive fluid transfer applications.
The inner liner of Chem-Durance Bio tubing is hydrophobic and thus resisting absorbation of aqueous fluids. This property minimizes the risk of fluid alteration in single- or repeat-use applications and allows for a broad range of usability and enhances chemical resistance. The tubing can be used with acids, bases, ketones, salts and alcohols.
Test results to date have shown tubing life up to 5000 hours at 100 rpm and 0 psi; up to 1000 hours at 600 rpm and 0 psi.
